How to request a refund via My Account (Web Browser Version)

If you meet the following criteria

  • Have a credit balance on your account

  • Have a bill based on an actual meter reading, not an estimate

  • Are not paying by Reliabill or Direct Debit

Below are the instructions on how you can request a credit refund when you log onto My Account on our website.

Not sure how to log in? follow this link below or skip ahead to Step 1 if you are already logged in

Step 1

After logging into My Account click on "Bills" at the top right corner to bring a drop box of options and select "Bills & Payments"

Step 2

Under Bill Summary you will see your current balance on your account + a blurb that advises that your account is in credit ..... No further action is required. Apply for credit refund. You just need to click on the Credit Refund button as shown below.

Step 3

Enter the refund amount based on what you are eligible to be refunded for + enter your bank details so that we can refund your credit to your nominated bank account.

Please note: Enter an extra zero at the start of your suffix for this to go through

ie if your suffix is 12, you should enter this as 012 as shown below

Once your refund amount and banking details have been entered press "confirm"

Step 4

Once your have confirmed your details for your credit refund you will get a pop up that advises that your credit has been refunded successfully to your bank account an that it can take up to 2-3 working days to process into your account.
