If you’re making the big move to somewhere new and can’t take us with you, it’s ok. We can sort out the closure of your account and in the future if you want to come back, it’s nice and simple.
To get your account closed with us there are a couple things we need to know:
The date you are moving out,
Confirmation of your email address - to ensure you receive your final bill,
Up to date contact phone number - in case we need to reach out to you,
A forwarding address – on the off chance your email address doesn’t work.
If you have bottled gas, do the bottles need picking up.
If you have a smart meter you won’t need to provide a final meter reading as we’ll get your reading automatically, we do ask that you provide us with at least three days’ notice prior. For non-smart meters or non-communicating smart meters we ask that you provide us with a reading on your move out date. It is helpful if you take a photo of the reading.
