For any electricity we supply to you, we are required to apply GST to the value of supply. On the other hand, on the value of electricity you generate and export back to us, GST won't generally apply, as it is considered a supply from you to us for tax purposes. If you are GST registered though, and the property and equipment you use to generate the electricity are business assets, GST can apply to the value of the exported electricity.
