Transition of Frank Energy Accounts to Genesis Energy
Frank Energy is undergoing a phased migration of its customers to Genesis Energy. This transition began on August 21, 2025, and will continue in phases over time. Here’s what you need to know about the process and notifications:
Phased Migration Schedule
Timeline: Frank Energy is migrating accounts in batches. Transfers started on August 21, 2025, with some groups scheduled between late August and early September
If your account was not in the initial transfer group, its migration will occur at a later date, and you’ll be notified accordingly
Notification Process
Customers will receive at least 30 days’ notice before their transfer begins. Notices are typically delivered via email using the contact details available on your Frank Energy account.
A welcome email notification will also confirm your migration has been completed.
Account Changes During Migration
If no alternate provider is selected, your Frank Energy account will move to Genesis Energy automatically.
After migration, Direct Debit arrangements with Frank Energy will be cancelled, and any remaining balance will transfer to Genesis Energy.
Post-Migration Steps
Once your Frank Energy account is switched to Genesis Energy, you will receive a welcome email containing your new account details and payment instructions.
